This site is where the arguments that turn into something readable end up — writing paired with the actual data behind it, not just a chart dropped in to look rigorous.

The name is a small joke for anyone who speaks Lithuanian: burti means both "to conjure" and "to tell fortunes" — which is a fairly accurate description of what statistical forecasting actually is, once you're honest about it.
